The Forest Action Network (FAN) is a non-governmental organization established in 1995. FAN brings together community based organizations, researchers, foresters, policy makers, and social scientists to enable them to participate actively in the sustainable management of natural resources and address arising conflicts. This is done through relation building workshops, training, thematic meetings, exchange visits, farmer-initiated research and extension, relevant case studies and publications.
