Description Based in Pontianak, West Kalimantan, Indonesia, Yayasan Dian Tama is a small appropriate technology NGO with a diverse and unique set of activities, which stem from Dian Tama's concern for the sustainable, productive and healthful use of natural resources. Dian Tama has formed a programme for the empowerment of women's work roles through the access to improved technology. The aim of this programme is not to alter or change the respective roles of men and women but to reduce fatigue and working hours by enabling women to carry out their work more effectively and efficiently.
