A study reviewing records of inpatient burns at Attat Hospital (West Shoa province, Ethiopia) for the years 1983-89, plus survey of prevalence of burns and knowledge of first aid for burns from community sample. Incidence of burns found to be 5-11%, most of which were related to playing near/falling into household fires. |
