| Description |
Aside from programs on domestic stove dissemination, it now seems important to include in energy strategies projects concerning small scale food processing. These activities have an essential part in feeding people, creating incomes and are adapted to local social and economic situations. And they represent great quantities of woodfuel consumed. Because of their characteristics, small scale food processing activities require a specific approach in which the dynamic of the entire food chain and its operators must be analysed, and the technical, economic and social needs identified. |
