| Description |
The author argues that in order to succeed in identifying energy needs, it is not sufficient to accurately describe women's roles but that the emphasis should be to look in a broader context at the social and power relationships involved in day-to-day activities. She describes domestic responsibilities and how to generate and balance power relationships.
The article is a reduced version of a paper presented at the ENERGIA workshop held on 2-3 November 1999, which is posted on the ENERGIA Website www.energia.org |
